Teperature in your tank

Recommended Posts

So I was browsing the WWW looking for ways of stabalizing temps in tanks and stumbled across this video from Jacob's Aquarium which I thought I'd share. It's a great way to maximize the efficiencey of your heater and save some $$$ if your heating a lot of tanks.

Not a problem for me, the only heaters I have currenly in use are Hydor inline heaters.  I do have a couple Fluval heaters with the digital display and it would indicate an error when it detected low flow.

I use the ViaAqua titanium heaters with external temperature controller / sensor and am really liking them.  The titanium heating rod is located behind my HMF and sensor is located about 10 inches away in the middle of the tank.  Don't think I am going back to standard heaters; there digital read out is super reading to set and it also tells you the current temperature of your water
