Hiatus Posted April 9, 2015 Report Share Posted April 9, 2015 Here is a decent paper to get you started. SMBS is Sodium Metabisulfite. It's almost easier just to flush it once a week. In the old days we also used a dilute Formalin solution, 3% i think. But Formalin is a carcinogen and not used anymore that I know of. mayphly Posted April 9, 2015 Report Share Posted April 9, 2015 I would remove the membrain place it in a ziplock with RO water and place it in the refridge depending on how long your not going to use it.
