stonedaquarium Posted May 31, 2015 Report Share Posted May 31, 2015 this happened to me too the (white band of death) when i did an emergency tank transfer when my 50 gal breeder broke and leaked... it was a choice between losing your entire colony, or doing a sudden tank transfer and losing a few shrimps... out of my 250 plus shrimps in my colony i think i lost about 5 to 8... and still seeing one or two with this white band i hope they make it... u just tend to leave the water as is for about a week for them to get adjusted... also reduced feedings... i would starve them for two days before feeding them with 1 shirakura wafer or 1/2 hikari algae wafer...
