WDIK
I purchased a turkey baster when I saw it mentioned in other threads about it being useful for spot cleaning. Found another use for it the other night. I noticed some kind of insect nymph in my tank, but could never get a great look at it before it hid again. Looked like something that could easily take a baby shrimp. The nymph made the mistake of hopping out onto an annubias leaf. The turkey baster made quick work of it. shrimpybuisness
Yup had it since the start of my first shrimp tank! Take out spoiled food, unwanted pests, clean algae on plants, or even move baby shrimp or pick up eggs Crazyfishlady

Spialz
Gotta love the turkey baster. I've also got a piece of rigid air line that I attached to some regular airline to make a mini siphon. Great for cleaning out food bowls and little messes. Crazyfishlady and WDIK
r45t4m4n
I have rigid airline attached to plastic syringe, the kind you can get from CVS for giving babies medicine. Gives me more control of suction than a baster would.
d3r
I need to get a turkey baster! I made a tiny siphon simply by running the end of my airline tube through a straw to make it rigid. my lazy siphon haha Crazyfishlady and 35ppt
