Elo500
Rachel O'Leary has a new article in July/August edition of Amazonas on Parasites in Freshwater Shrimp. She wasn't able to find a good treatment for Ellobiopsis. At least it's there for anyone who doubts it's a real issue. Good job! http://www.reef2rainforest.com/2015/05/12/parasites-in-freshwater-shrimp/ Johnnydok, Edwardnah and Steve R.
Steve R.
Great find. Because Ellobiopsis is a protist, medications that work against protozoans might be most effective. This article should be linked to the posts that think that they deal with a fungal infection. In my opinion, the best way to deal with Ellobiopsis would be to cull (euthanize) the infected shrimp to prevent further spread.
