Darkchylde72 Posted June 10, 2015 Report Posted June 10, 2015 I made a stupid mistake this morning and used some Seachem Neutral Regulator in my neo tank. How harmful is it to my shrimp and if it is harmful, what is a safe way to remove? Thank you!! Johnnydok 1 Quote
Darkchylde72 Posted June 10, 2015 Author Report Posted June 10, 2015 By stupid, I didn't look into it before adding. Was trying to stabilize my pH, because I thought it was varying too much. After talking with others the small variance really wasn't a problem, but by that point I had already made the mistake. Quote
Shrimpscales Posted June 10, 2015 Report Posted June 10, 2015 I think the problem with neutral regulator would be that it is phosphate based. Phosphates could be harmful to shrimp in high enough levels. There are phosphate removers you could use to remove it. Water changes are always an option as well. Quote
