judyok
The test tube on the left is R/O water from Walmart straight out of the bottle. The test tube on the right is distilled water. I guess I won't be paying for R/O water from Walmart anymore. I'm not keen on the water starting with nitrates at 5 ppm. EricM
any idea what type of RO system they are using, or when it was last serviced? but yes good idea to always test before using.
judyok
The machine has a sticker on it with blank line that are filled in by whoever services the machine and the last service date was 05/18. I can't remember the name of the company providing the R/O water, but I won't be using it again. My tap water nitrates are at zero for pete sakes. Nexus6
Funny you should mention this, i was at walmart and saw that machine too and was thinking to myself, I should try this afterall its $.22/gal vs $.88/gal for DI water. But i think ill stick with DI water, its worked best for me.
RyeGuy411
RO water from the WalMart machine can be fine it depends on the WalMart. I have used that machine at my local store for almost a year and always get water with TDS around 5 with no issues.
judyok
I'm thinking about taking my 5 gallon jug to another Wal-mart and test it. I'll let you know the results.
