chibikaie
I'd rather not take them out of the tank for planaria treatment if I don't have to. JosephKex, Edwardnah and MableBile

fishcrazy
It's not snail safe; however, my Ramshorns survived. Pond snails didn't.

chibikaie
Thanks for the responses. I thought I remembered using it with both pond and ramshorn suffering no ill effect, but I've never had a thriving pond snail population. So my guess is that the effects are more species specific (and there are many kinds of pond snails, so some may be more sensitive than others). I moved them over to quarantine to err on the safe side, and I will be doing a large water change, filtering with charcoal, and turning the light back on before putting them back. If this stuff does make snails and slugs unhappy, I just might start treating soil with it. I need to interrupt some tapeworm life cycles.
