If the distilled water is made by a good manufacturer, it is as pure as a water can get. To test this, measure the TDS and you should get 0 - 1 TDS. Do note that some distilled water has a little preservative (liquid or gas form) in it, but it is not a big issue if you pre-mix and circulate for 24 hours as per my Revive Bianco's instruction.
