Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk This is a great write up that helps explain f1, f2 terms. The information is taken from another forum. With all due respect to it's author I hope they don't mind me sharing it here. http://shrimpkeepersforum.com/forum/topic/7637-tibee-taitibee-pinto-mischling-f1-f2-terms-explained/ dr0p

DETAquarium
I didn't have the time to finish reading the above article, but I wanted to add a few of my thoughts: It is quite difficult unless your breeding these shrimp yourself to differentiate a Tibee you receive into generations. The only way in my opinion to be positive is breed your own line. Then separate berried females from the rest of the colony into one tank, when shrimplets are born then move female back to original colony. That is why many people have trouble because of the number of tanks needed to properly selectively breed shrimp for characteristics or generations.
