nevesj98
So im wanting a 30 L tank with the following size : 40cm long 25cm wide 30cm tall But i wanted to divide it in 2 so i can breed 2 species, but in a way that the water runs trough both sections so it stabilizes as 1 30L tank and not 2 15L-ish tanks. What would be the best choice? have a nice day, AND A MERRY CHRISTMASS SHRIMPKEEPERS
mjb1959
maybe a diy "hmf" hybrid filter?
nevesj98
What do you mean? Arent HMF suposed to be more on one side of the tank?
Pokeshrimp
I was thinking about splitting my 40b using and HMF. Just use a sponge for the middle and have two jet lifters pointed to each side. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
nevesj98
Humm now i see it sorry, but why wouldnt just 1 jet filter be enough? Does anyone have pics from other people who done this?
mjb1959
full disclosure... just a video i found, not owned by me... i think you would want a flow to both sides like this guy did.
Vpier
Check this out. Very impressed and I'm a big fan of HMF.
