ahboram Posted March 4, 2016 Report Posted March 4, 2016 So, I really want to have some OEBT, and want to know if my parameters are good enough. They are holding stable at pH 7.2, ammonia/nitrite/nitrate all at 0ppm, kh 3 (it took 3 drops from test kit), gh 5 (5 drops). Temperature is the only problem cause im in cali and the temp in my room goes from 74-78. Are these parameters ideal or should i change something? My neos and amano are really happy and just want to add a bit more diversity to the tank. Thanks for all the help! Quote
Shrimple minded Posted March 4, 2016 Report Posted March 4, 2016 http://www.discobee.com/blogs/news/17030569-dwarf-shrimp-water-parameters Dwarf Shrimp Water Parameters I don't keep OEBTs myself but I'm sure someone can chime in regarding the temperature swings. Quote
ahboram Posted March 4, 2016 Author Report Posted March 4, 2016 Yea thats the only real thing im worried about. I just looked at that actually. I was told they need colder water, and it is really hard to hit that in my room during the day. Quote
Fishprinceofca Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Get a fan to cool the water. My OEBTS start getting bacterial infections above 74-75 degrees. Quote
