ibebian
Performed a 25% WC yesterday (temp matched and pH close) and added BW Shield, along with NPK/micros/iron. I under-dosed the Flourish Comp (about 2/3 dosage) and iron (1/3 dosage). Today I found a dead OEBT cull juvenile in the attached photo with a reddish area right behind the head. So far all other RCS and OEBT seem fine, got a clean molt or two. Has anyone seen an OEBT or other dwarf shrimp look like this? At 1 death I'm inclined not to get too crazy about it, but would be helpful to know if this type of thing has been seen before. Maybe this is how all OEBT look when dead? Pedro
All my taiwan bee when they die they die like that, my tigers just die and don't get that orange look on the cephalotorax, but then again I believe my Taiwan have a bacterial infection, I would be cautious and monitor closely your shrimps. ibebian
What are some other bacterial symptoms? A milky white shell is the only one I know of.
