JerSaint
Hi Everyone, I did a bit of a rescape to a portion of the tank I didn't think was working out. I think the plants that were in that spot were not doing the best. I am trying a section of Staurogyne Repens to create an area that is bushy. Better Pics to come when I can bust out the SLR. Before FTS: After FTS: Before Closeup: After Closeup: A few for fun: Does anybody know what type of shrimp this guy is?
MABJ
I think it looks great. The plants are phenomenal. Perhaps go for a stronger hardscape though.
JerSaint
Thanks MABJ! I originally thought I had gone with a strong hardscape. The plan was for a iwagumi-ish style hardscape with dutch-ish plantings. The right side had a decent sized secondary stone that has since been dwarfed by the Blyxa and is a great space for the Hydrocoytle Japan to grab onto, making it all the smaller. I will think about raising it a bit.
OblongShrimp
Is that BBA that shrimp is sitting on?
mosspearl
+1 MABJ The rocks got lost in all the plants. The plants are great, though. I love the diversity you've got going. Nice differences in textures.
JerSaint
Yup. It isn't anywhere else in the tank but on the two small chunks of mopani I have. I have no idea how to control it or get rid of it. IS it a really bad thing?
mosspearl
BBA is a pain to get rid of. It likes the edges of my leaves.
kcoscia
Your shrimp seem to enjoy it, but I hear it can grow pretty quick.
