Grapewood in shrimp tanks?

I went to a new garden nursery today and found out that they carry grapewood (some cholla wood too but it's expensive). So, I came home with 2 small pieces of grapewood but I don't know if it's a good idea to use it in shrimp tanks or not. I'll google it tonigh but if you have any information/experience about/with it, please, share with me!

How expensive on that cholla? https://www.etsy.com/listing/218329336/huge-29-inch-tall-cholla-cactus-skeleton

Try the grape is a small tank with culls. Boil first if you are worried about tannin.

A plastic bin with an 3$ foam filter would work.
