brocknorman
So I am wanting to start selective breeding. I have a breeder box, that I want to put a pair of shrimp in. My only problem, is that I can't identify which shrimp are male and which are female. These are TBs Btw. Anyone have an effective method to figure out which shrimp is a female and which is a male?-BrockSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Greenteam
The best way to sex shrimp is to check the 2nd abdominal segment for a spoon shaped segment. Here is some photos to better explain what you look for in a female shrimp. Also keep in mind young females will exhibit the round segment but might not show the typical "big belly" till they carry their first batch of eggs.
