MULBERRYLEAVES

Recommended Posts

They are a good source of protein. They contain other minerals and vitamins but not in substantial quantities. You can feed them pretty much any hardwood/fruit tree leaves. I try to give my shrimps a diverse blend of vegetation. Stinging Nettle and Mulberry leaves seem to be their preferred choice.  I try to pick the newest growth to feed them even though they don't seem to care whether its new growth, old, dry or boiled. It all gets eaten sooner or later. Keep an eye on nitrate levels if you leave any fresh greens in your tank for awhile.
