Shrimp Life
I have been growing this beautiful short plant in my shrimp tanks, with medium lighting. Pictures were taken today of available crowns. I am selling small-large crowns. I will include a good mix of all sizes in each order. 10 for $20 plus $10 shipping. These need to be shipped with care sorry for the higher then usual shipping cost. Tried to make up for it with a fair asking price.

Shrimp Life
I use medium -high lighting, either inert sand or aquasoil - Direct light/ No shade.. There are alot of people who grow this in varying conditions, with co2/without.. fert root tabs, liquid ferts etc... ohmiko
Do yours have co2? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ohmiko
I have a friend who tried growing in inert no CO2 and it just died :-(Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Shrimp Life
No I don't use co2, and I don't use co2 for any of my moss collection, and no problems. I think the problem alot of time is the source/seller. If you are buying a moss or plant that is grown in high demand conditions and you move it to a low tech tank, you can expect melting. die off etc... I personally have had some issues with tissue culture plants not flourishing the same way that my hobbyist grown moss and plants did. Mike16T
There you go.. The red Downois have red ribs and somehow some powder metallic color if the plant is really happy... you can see the difference between the regular one and the reds. Reds on the left and regular on the right.
Mike16T
Red Downoi is still pretty pricey. Started with 2 crowns and I now have 6 crowns as of today. Picture is probably a month a ago.
