Art by Stef*
Thought I'd share some shrimp art that's a little different. A life sized shrimp painted on a clean driftwood piece, with preserved reindeer moss applied for a natural look. I used crystal white paint on some, and neon yellow paint on the yellow neo: You can also see them at my site: artbystef.com (under "Aquatic" section) There's a lot of other critters in the galleries, too, and I hope to be adding more shrimp and aquatic art throughout the year, as there seems to be a lot of fish art, but not so much pet shrimp art -Stef*

GreenBliss
Very cool stuff. If I had extra money, I would buy some. Beautiful art. Oh, lovely Guppies and Bettas. Love those fish. Hope to have some one day.

Soothing Shrimp
LOL That's okay juancho. Different strokes for different folks. Not everyone is going to like everything.
Art by Stef*
Yeah, it's "art", and I did mention it's something a little different in opening. I like experimenting with all types of medium, and no one can say my stuff is ever copied, lifted, or un-original. I do different styles, too. I personally am not into abstract, rather look at the inside of my eyelids at what might be lingering there, but I can see the appeal of it to others. Wouldn't have it hanging in my house if it was worth thousands. The only emotions I get out of it is a headache. -Stef*
Soothing Shrimp
As for me, personally I like Stef's art interpretations of shrimp. Very few people do it. In fact, I have an ornament of hers hanging in my shrimp room now.
juancho
Right it' s art but I 'm not very artsy....I can't even draw simple things ....saying that I must say that the shrimps look really nice and real
Art by Stef*
The fact they look real is what I was going for, more science-y/reference, as opposed to Rembrandt. In case I boo-boo and lose shrimp, I always have some to look at and pretend
