mnemenoi
Ammazonia should be about 1-2" to minimize the ammonia spike. Also be sure and use remineralized RO water to achieve your desired TDS
JamesHe
I use 1/9 rule. 1/9 of height of water column.
Subtletanks91
2" is a good amount. Also, don't worry about using ro water when setting it up because of the water changes it's a waste just use conditioned tap water, after cycling is done use ro water with remin to get desired tds.
