Nick_R
Hello, So I have a blue bolt that seems to be dropping her eggs. I'm not 100% sure how long she has been carrying for but I think it's been about 2 weeks. What's strange is she seems to be dropping them only a few at a time. The last 2 days the number of eggs holding has slowly decreased and today it looks like she has 3 left only. I feel like 2 weeks is way too soon for them to be born as all my other tb stay berried for about a month. But at the same time, the few shimps I've had dropped there eggs, they dropped them all at once then molted. Any input would be appreciated. DETAquarium
If its a first time berried female that can be normal as they are still learning as well. Just like fish when their eggs are fertilized by the male, the pair is still learning.
High5's
It's normal for a first time mom to drop egg's she has to learn how to hold them in her swimmerets and fan them, she will do better next time around.
Nick_R
Thanks for the input. I guess I won't be too worried then, it's just I have never seen any of my shrimps do this and all of my other tb that have been berried in this tank have never had any problems.
