mayphly
How thick does an acrylic lid need to be so that it doesn't warp? I need to get some for my 10g's.
metageologist
Based on my experience I say .25 inch anything less has curled under my T5 lights
mayphly
I had 1/8" and it bowed. Now I just keep flipping it. Time for an upgrade. Lol
RyeGuy411
There is a big difference between acrylic and lexan. I have used acrylic in the past and it always warps. I switched to lexan, much thinner and it doesn't warp at all. I bought mine at Home Depot and the price is about double the acrylic but worth it. mayphly
There's a tap plastic by my work. I'll see if they have it. Thanks
OblongShrimp
I use twin wall polycarbonate for my lids. The multiple walls help insulate as well and they are stiff so they won't bend on you. mayphly
