r45t4m4n Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Looks like an indicator of genes. Pink = TB gene Black = BB gene Pink,Pink = TB Black,Black = BB Black,PInk/Pink,Black = Mischling Soothing Shrimp 1 Quote
randy Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 I would point out the BB in this case is black bee, it probably means just the regular bee shrimps (CBS). Also, although it seems that F2 gives you 25% of TB, but it is not true. The percentage would be way less. You are lucky if you get any in F2 (F1 mischling x F1 mischling). Quote
EricM Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 this chart and a few others have been floating around for a few years. you are missing the explanation part. Quote
randy Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Again, unfortunately that's not 100% true. Nowadays, you can get non-TB from TB x TB. EricM 1 Quote
