Elo500
Is there a way to label moss growing on ss mesh? I've picked up a few oddball moss on 1x1 mesh and would like to stick some sort of label on the bottom so I can tell them apart. Has anyone come up with a way to do this? Maybe a piece of white plastic and a sharpe? Don't know if sharpe is shrimp safe.... WelchMout
Crazyfishlady
maybe you could use a color system? Like colored string tied to the mesh in a corner? Then you can keep a list.. green = xmas moss, blue = java... etc. That way no sharpie in the water. ??
Ren
You could write with a sharpe on the glass of the tank. Just don't move the moss around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk chibikaie

chibikaie
And if you need to remove permanent marker, most will dissolve with rubbing alcohol. The ones that don't are generally expensive enough that you'll know if it's alcohol proof before you try it.
h4n
That's how I label mine. Used a label maker onto a plastic tab. You can use a sharpie but eventually fades under water. High5's, manticore, Elo500 and 1 other
metageologist
Use a grease pen wipes off easily.
Elo500
@h4n so you print a label on adhesive paper than apply to plastic? Or print directly on plastic ? What kind of label maker? That' looks perfect! aquariumlover10
