Elo500 Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 What is the easiest way to create the recommended water parameters that were posted for the new wild tigers using ro water? Temp: 64-69 Ph: 8 TDS:150 GH:3 Start with salty gh+ to get to 3 then a ph up mix to raise the ph? Does 8 ph sound too high? 0 kh? Quote
Puddles Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 What are these new tigers? Haven't heard about them. Quote
Elo500 Posted January 11, 2015 Author Report Posted January 11, 2015 I was referring to the Galaxy and super hornets that blue crown is selling. Quote
mayphly Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Blue Crown messaged me saying they are keeping the hornets in CRS parameters. Blue Crown Aquatic Trade 1 Quote
Elo500 Posted January 11, 2015 Author Report Posted January 11, 2015 I think his most recent post mentioned that breeders are using these but that he will also try crs Params. Quote
Blue Crown Aquatic Trade Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Super Hornet is a bee shrimp and those can go with CRS parameter. Galaxy Tiger our supplier told us to go with Tiger parameter. Quote
High5's Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Super Hornets looks like paracaridina sp to me. Quote
Blue Crown Aquatic Trade Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 They are wild type paracaridina so that's my mistake but they do breed with caridinas though. Quote
mayphly Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Super Hornets looks like paracaridina sp to me. Just confirmed with BC that they are "wild-type" paracaridina. It's great to see someone bringing these shrimp in. There are so many cool types of paracaridina out there. I'm looking forward to them. Blue Crown Aquatic Trade 1 Quote

Archie1208 Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 What is the range for super tigers - not necessarily the most optimum but what would work to keep colony moving - are they compatible with most neos? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Blue Crown Aquatic Trade Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 For Super Tiger we are currently keeping them with the Super Hornet bee and they have been doing quite well. Quote
Elo500 Posted January 12, 2015 Author Report Posted January 12, 2015 Then that makes it easier. Quote
