OMG Aquatics
None. If you're going to use CO2 in a shrimp tank, you'll need a professional CO2 system so you can control the amount of CO2 going in your tank.
Steve R.
I agree. I used yeast to produce CO2 initially, but the output varies greatly and it ended being a lot of work. Investing into a professional CO2 sytem was a great choice.

neilshieh
co2 tablets don't work afaik. diy co2 would be cheapest but it turns into a lot of work.... and I think if you do the calculations it catches up pretty quickly versus if you just bought a system. paintball would be the cheapest option otherwise get a full co2 setup. neilshieh
yup it's still co2. cost wise in the long run it's not as cost efficient as getting a #5, #10, or #20 cylinder. but it's a good solution for limited space/cheaper initial cost setups. you could also just fill your own paintball canisters from an actual co2 tank with a siphon tube installed. then you'd definitely be saving money haha.
