judyok
What water parameters are ideal for bringing out the color in Blue Pearl shrimp? I just received them today and I do know I've got to give them time to settle in and mature, but I've read before that their color is enhanced with water parameters that are ideal for them. Soothing Shrimp
Judy, a lot depends on your personal water source. What works for one person, may or may not work for another. We can provide a general guideline, however you may have to tweak your params to what you desire.
judyok
Okay this was just an inquiry in response to a topic I read elsewhere. They were saying the blue pearl shrimp's color greatly improved with a ph under 7, but probably what this is really about is the shrimp responding to an environment with conditions more to it's liking. Soothing Shrimp
Most shrimpers agree that neos in general tend to do better in 7+ph. While some do survive in 6+, many have found breeding to have stopped or slowed significantly. Shrimpie
