shrymprdan
After washing them, I have dropped fresh kiwi peelings into my tanks. While they're not too big on the actual skins, they really seem to dig the kiwi flesh. Yet another food to offer them! Anyone else tried this with neos? Soothing Shrimp
kiwi is sweet, yes? Fruit sugar is known to feed bacteria, so be careful of bacterial blooms.
35ppt
What a good idea. I have been giving mine watermelon, which of course is full of yummy sugar. It was fine just adding pieces freshly cut; I do mostly give the white part, and small amounts. But to be extra safe, I now soak them in a cup of water for a bit, to potentially leach some of that out. It is interesting to see how the chunk progresses as they eat it.
