Twister54
I am looking for some advise on a way to disguise my filter, heater and breeder box uplift tube. That can be seen at the back of my tank. I was considering making a moss wall to surround them, but am unsure as to weather putting my filter behind a moss wall would affect it's function. I am also very confused as to what kind of mesh is shrimp safe. Does anyone have any ideas on a way of disguising my filter etc. MableBile
Soothing Shrimp
If you need stainless steel mesh for shrimp, contact H4N. He'll give you some good advice.
Desert Shrimp Depot
I like cube tanks because I can put a Hamburg matten filter in the back and put the oxygenator, heater, and water pump out of sight behind it. I usually have riccia or java growing on the matten. I return the water from the pump under the substrate and let it peculate up through a gravel bed area near the front. Twister54
Wow that looks great! I am eventually planning to use a Hamberg matten filter, but I'm holding off for the moment as I'm planning to set up some new tanks when I move so was planning to do it all at once. I think some kind of plant/ moss to disguise my current set-up is my best bet.
