ctaylor3737
Peroxide dip and heavy rinsing. Also helps to quarantine you plants to in a separate tank. I treat the plants to kill the snails and an diseases they have -Chris

featherblue
Do you have any snaiks you like in tge tank? I used a trio of assassin snails to solve my pond snail and rainstorm issues Youll need to feed them or rehome them after they're done with all the snails. Takes a few weeks per tank, depending on how bad they are.
vsparkys
I though of useing assassin but I did not want to solve a snail problem with more snails do they breed fast Sent from my 7 Mozart using Tapatalk
featherblue
Assassins are harder to breed. Mine never did. The a-team retired to a planted 120g with a huge mts problem. After a year, there's still mts, but the pop seems to have reached a balance with the assassin appetites and mts breeding.
cfosgate
Assassins breed although very slowly and like all snails it's dependent upon the quantity of the food source. If the food is scarce they won't tend to breed at all. I have had some breed but it takes a long time and few of the eggs survive.
