Vpier Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 When I boil leaves I always save the water (tea) dump it in my RO water reservoir. I had the cup sitting on my desk and I thought it was ice tea and drank a large mouthful of it a few minutes ago. It tasted really good but Im not sure if it will make sick. Quote
dr0p Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 Mulberry leaf tea has powerful antioxidant properties and has been found to lower cholesterol, triglycerides, and reduce inflammation. Guava leaf tea also has many great health benefits similar to Mulberry. I drink teas with both often - You should be just fine http://www.livestrong.com/article/265868-what-are-the-health-benefits-of-mulberry-leaf-tea/ http://www.livestrong.com/article/297863-the-health-benefits-of-guava-leaf-tea/ h4n and Vpier 2 Quote

Wygglz Posted December 11, 2015 Report Posted December 11, 2015 Mulberry also levels out your blood sugar so you don't have spikes and crashes. Way to be healthy! Quote
Vpier Posted December 11, 2015 Author Report Posted December 11, 2015 Would it be safe to drink the tea by boiling the leaves I use for shrimp? Quote
