Saw a question on another shrimp forum, didnt know the answer maybe you do?

User posted that they have all female shrimp and a few unsexed shrimplets, but that a couple of the females are saddled.

 

Can shrimp become eggbound or otherwise suffer from not having a male in there to fertilize the eggs?

Jynn that is a great question, from my experience shrimp can certainly have a saddle but never produce eggs or become berried, They simply wouldn't pass down to their lower abdomen. I am no expert as it comes to anatomy of shrimp but this just what I have seen.
