lamder
I noticed from http://www.discobee.com/blogs/news/17030569-dwarf-shrimp-water-parameters that PRL seem to favor water that is a little more acidic and softer compared to CRS For folks who have experience keeping CRS and PRL, are PRL more sensitive than CRS? And would they do fine in the higher end of the CRS params (ph 6.6, TDS 180)? Thanks, Sam
Dluxeshrimps
I have both under the same parameters. pH 6.3 - 6.5 and my TDS 150. They breed just fine.
DETAquarium
I have bred PRL and CRS both in TDS of 120 to 180 with no problems. PH they are quite similar as well, but I have bred CRS in Neo parameters before.
EricM
We tend to keep our PRL in slightly lower parameters vs our CRS/SCRS. our PRL are in GH3/TDS110ish. while our SCRS are GH3-4/TDS130ish.
lamder
Thanks all for the replies. I have bred PRL and CRS both in TDS of 120 to 180 with no problems. PH they are quite similar as well, but I have bred CRS in Neo parameters before. Daryl that's good to know. One of my reasons for asking is because I am trying to dial the tank params to house both CRS(maybe PRL) and Neos. Sam
