Desoaping

Anyone have suggestions for getting ALL soap out of a container.  

I have my RO water in regular distilled water jugs that you get from a grocery store but they leak after a few uses.  Ive made so many messes storing them.

I am a pet groomer and have 10 zillion  hard plastic gallon jugs but I want to know if there is any 100 percent sure fire way to get all soap residue out  for water storage.

are there fragrances in those products?

I use vinegar for most things, but fragrances seem very resistant to removal.

Then copious amounts of water/agitation. (Reuse the water elsewhere.)

Greenteam is it a gallon jug?   I have a 5 gallon one of those and a 2.5 gallon but they are really heavy to lug up 2 flights of stairs full.  And if it is a gallon, where did you get it?

 

Ill try the vinegar and see what happens!!

I get 1 gal ones on amazon. I have to haul water to work for my office tank and I agree, some are too big for comfortable transport!
