Rili
I am sorry if this is not the right place to post this, please let me know if it's in the wrong place. I bought some Carbon rili shrimp a month ago and I noticed that one of the shrimp has weird mark on the side of its head. I didn't think too much of this because it was so small that I thought I was just seeing things. Now that the shrimp has grown a bit it doesn't look normal. What do you think? Rili
How do I upload photos? Whenever I try it says "there was a problem processing the upload file 200"
PlantDude
Maybe the picture is too big? Try a link instead. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Mr. F
Is it missing color/clear on a spot on its head? They're called earholes and they're quite common. It's just genetics. Soothing Shrimp
Rili
I couldnt get the pics to upload but here's a link for the pictures. I found it odd because it was only on one of the shrimps. http://s1098.photobucket.com/user/sharon3354/slideshow/Mobile Uploads

I found it odd because it was only on one of the shrimps. http://s1098.photobucket.com/user/sharon3354/slideshow/Mobile Uploads It looks like the placement of earholes, but the pinkish/red tint in a couple of the pics is odd. Is that just the photograph?
Rili
Yeah, the pinkish tint is only on the photo. Glad to hear that it's just ear holes. Thanks for the help
Mr. F
Glad to help! Another thing about earholes: many people find this trait undesirable in rili shrimp as it diminishes the solid head and tail pattern of a high grade rili, so if you're trying to breed for quality, you may want consider this shrimp as a cull. Anyway, good luck with your shrimp!
