Wild Crystal Black Shrimp (the original bee shrimp!)

Recommended Posts

Finally got my hands on my true wild crystal black shrimp aka the original bee shrimp. They don't look like much but I been looking for them for a while and very excited to have them in my tanks.  these are the RAW bee shrimps, before they were selectively bred to what we know now as crystral red and crystal black shrimps.  Hoping to get a colony going and keep them around for a while. checked one off my bucket list : )

Awesome! What are your plans with them? Mass breed and keep strain true?

Very cool. Have you noticed any interesting traits compared to their selectively bred brethren?

Yes, the wild one definitely have more orange; around the nose, tail and sometime a bit on the body and of course the black and while can be very light on some off them
