Mr. F
A member recently posted a thread about leaving for 2 weeks with successful results. You will also need to consider evaporation. pucksr
For the record, I do this all the time. It is one of the reasons I keep shrimp. I travel a lot and I can just leave the shrimp as long as the tank is planted. The water evaporation is a big issue during the summer. If you turn off/down the AC, the room will get warmer. In that case you will get more evaporation. In 80 degree weather you can expect about an inch every couple of days(no fan) or an inch per day with a fan.
