High5's Posted July 23, 2014 Report Share Posted July 23, 2014 I think there beneficial for a number of reasons, I think they have an ionic effect on the water that purifies it. They provide minerals that may be missing on a constant this may help with molting, they grow bio film and can provide hiding places for young if stacked in a pile.
