  1. I get this error too. I haven't been able to login to Tapatalk in months. Any ideas?
  2. Jeff Lidberg has blonde oebt mix grades. I just picked up 10 from him. Not sure if he's on here but he's on Facebook.
  3. Nice tank! The worms sound like detritus worms. Probably came in on your plants. Nothing wrong with them, they will just eat left over food. If you over feed you'll see a lot of them, but they are harmless and actually beneficial to your tank. I have them in every tank I have pretty much.
  4. Nice fish! I have a double red but I have a lot of blue sheen on mine also. Here is a shot of mine. Hope yours is doing well! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  5. . I rolled it into a ball and just dropped the ball onto the substrate. I read some people squish it on the glass and watch the shrimp all hang on it haha.
  6. My shrimp go absolutely nuts for the putty. I keep that on hand all the time.
  7. Hey everyone, I've had my mixed caridina tank up for almost two months now, everything is going well. I keep one of these SL-Aqua Mironekuton stones in the tank and I am starting to think it's raising my TDS. I've had a slow creep for a while, and I've been doing RO changes to lower the TDS back to about 160ish. Within a day I'm back up to 185-195 TDS. I'm using Brightwell soil and don't have any other stone in the tank, just driftwood. The only thing I can think is it's the stone. Now, is this bad TDS or good? My shrimp molt fine, I have berried females, I'm just worried about the higher TDS. After 2 weeks, coming from 160 TDS it will sit around 200-205. This is high for caridina, but they are doing good. I see mixed responses on if these are snake oil or not, but I'm afraid to remove and have the shrimp get molting issues. I remineralize with Blue Wizard to 160 TDS/5-6GH. Thanks in advance!
  8. Thanks Mr. F! I had a feeling it was a neo from my reading. Any potential issues with the group of Caridina I have in there? I figured if I get some interbreeding it wouldn't be the end of the world and I'd see how things develop.
  9. Hi all, New member here and started my first shrimp only tank recently. I was keeping a small colony of TT's in my betta tank, but decided to move them to a dedicated 10 gallon tank. A buddy of mine gave me about 2 dozen more TT's (technically TangTai he says). I also added 12 pseudo tibees and 12 mischlings. Since I'm new to all this I thought it would be interesting to see what comes from this tank and learn a bit, then decide to selective breed once I get the hang of it. I'm keeping them in RODI remineralized with SL-Aqua Blue Wizard to about 180tds/gH 5/kH 0/temp 75. All are doing well, totally cleared ALL of the biofilm I had from cycling (the tank looked like spiderwebs everywhere, surprised they ate it so quick!). Any tips of tricks I'd appreciate. My friend who gave me the TangTai's also threw the below guy in (was in his tank). Curious what this one is? From my searching I'm guessing a rili of some sort?
