Every time we have a new employee, I get to tell them all the little things that I've slowly figured out. They're always a bit taken aback when I tell them, "it's not just that you overlooked it, it took me four years to find the light switch in this room" and "don't worry, it took two years before I learned how to do that on this computer program."
