mayphly
The person I received these from told me they are ludwigia but didn't know what type. My guess in arcuata (red) and repens? But not sure. Any help would be appreciated. Someone suggented narrow leaf macrandra. Just wated to double check. The stems of the red plant in the pic are only about 3" in length. Thanks! mayphly
Hey Han, Here's a couple more shots of each. Thanks!
h4n
The red is definitely a Rotala but hard to say what since for example Rotala butterfly can look like that pla t or totally different depending on the tank. Second green plant I'm stumped. Almost look like a plant that had stunted growth
mayphly
I put both plants in my high light tank. I guess I'll wait and see if there's any tranformation. Thanks!

Soothing Shrimp
Could it be rotala without the iron/high light?
mayphly
Could it be rotala without the iron/high light? It's possible. The fellow I got it from only uses minimal co2 and root tabs. I guess I'll have to wait a couple of weeks and see how it grows.
DETAquarium
Both remind me of Rotala under different conditions. Potentially could be Ludwigia Needle Leaf/Ludwigia Arcuata or Ludwigia Palustris. mayphly
