20H Rescape! (Reposted from TPT)

A couple days ago, I lost 80% of my fish, due to a retarded co2 system. Not only did I lose my precious 1 year old angels (ironically, I bought them on Valentines day last year when they were just little dime sized) I also lost the fry that two of my angels were caring for.
Since this tragic event happened, I realized that this could be a good opportunity to re-scape the tank.

I'm sorry that you lost so many of your fish. Your koi angels were beautiful. I have a couple of gold marble angels myself in a 29 gallon, but I got them in November and they are not so large yet. I am glad that at least one of your survived. The driftwood is unique and very beautiful too.

Yea, They brought me joy every day I came back from school. Raised them since they were dime sized.

Awesome indeed. What kind of substrate are you using? I like the color and size a lot.

Btw, what is that cone thing floating on the surface?

Thanks for sharing and keep us updated!

I'm using 1 9L bag of ADA amazonia aquasoil. A lot better than the eco-complete mix I had before the gassing. The cone thing is a worm feeder. Its suction-cupped to the glass. It helps with feeding frozen foods.
