aquariumlover10 Posted December 18, 2014 Author Report Posted December 18, 2014 I know right, at first I thought it was some hybrid but its a natural thing, want them, and thats big for me because there's only like 5 other tetras I like. Quote
EbiBunBun Posted December 18, 2014 Report Posted December 18, 2014 Those are nice. Almost makes me change my mind about my no fish with the shrimp policy. Quote
aquariumlover10 Posted December 18, 2014 Author Report Posted December 18, 2014 Haha, yes, come to the dark side Quote
manticore Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 In fact it is called Aphyocharax rathbuni. I personally love them, not large, nice and cute, easy and hardy. Keep at least 10 - 15 of them. Soothing Shrimp 1 Quote
aquariumlover10 Posted December 21, 2014 Author Report Posted December 21, 2014 So you have them? Pics!! Soothing Shrimp 1 Quote
manticore Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 i have worked with them in the valenta aquaristik shop in germany, i kept them for about 2 years there, estimated 200 individuals. sorry if i have to provide now pictures and i cannot do so, i really kept permanently about 230 warmwater and 30 saltwater species. if it is not ok this kind of answer i can stop giving any advise on them. They resemble somewhat to cardinal tetras or hasemania marginata as lenght, only it is not necessary keeping them in very large numbers. 10-15 would do. 73-79 fahrenheit, black larvae, normal small fish food are perfect food for them Quote
