mpkee007
Just wondering if you guys think this is a bacterial infection in my orange rili. And also what to use to fix. Thanks.
wicca32
the head looks a little white to me. some have had luck with paraguard and other melafix. either way i would pull it and put it in a qt tank so it does not spread if it is bacterial
Subtletanks91
I wouldn't know, but that, definatly doesn't look normal. I've never had a bacterial infection yet, nor do I want to.
mpkee007
Hopefully it can be fixed before it goes crazy in the tank. Should of QT these new rili's before i added them with the others. Live and learn I guess.
Soothing Shrimp
Haziness is not necessarily a sign of bacterial infection since different shrimp tissues have more density than others. This is what you need to look for: See how paper white it is?
wicca32
isnt that the japanese parasite that only affects males?
Soothing Shrimp
The Okayama Parasite is the one that affects only males and is pretty harmless. It is pretty rare though.
