OMG Aquatics
I noticed for my BB/CRS tank, the snowflake are actually forming fungus and at a rapid rate. Should I remove it or will the shrimps eat it eventually? This doesn't happen in my snowball tank since it gets devoured faster than it can produce. High5's
Snow flake is a leave in food so... leave it in. The fungus your seeing is mycelium your shrimp should eat it eventually.

OMG Aquatics
I hope they eat it soon because it's growing amazingly fast and it looks like a big blob.
OblongShrimp
The fungus is what you want! If it is growing a lot of fungus you may want to add less snowflakes next time. After a week or so the fungus will consume the nutrients in the snowflake and die off. EricM

aquariumlover10
That's what snowflake is meant for, to grow fungus for the shrimp to eat.
