Spialz
So I found some 5 gallon plastic barrels that would be perfect for storing/transporting RO water. Problem is they were used to hold soap before. My question is, do you think it would be safe to use? If so, what would be the best way to clean them to ensure they are safe? Thank you for any help. chibikaie
If you are taking the step of using RO water, I would not take chances with putting it in anything that has touched soap. Five gallon containers are cheap enough that I would just buy new ones that have not been used for anything else (and then mark them so no one else uses them - I can't tell you how many buckets I've lost to my parents "borrowing" them and then giving them back covered in *paint*). colorfan and Soothing Shrimp
Glasshalffull
My wife steals my buckets all the time I bought at Walmart on sale for a few bucks a piece
ctaylor3737
Just get the 5g water jugs used for the machines. That's what I use for mixing and comes with a cap. I cut a small hole in the cap for an airline if I need to aerate
