Axelrod12
I've noticed my CRS doing this in the past and just caught one of my BTOE doing it. They seem to be curling their tail under them and it looks like they are picking something off it. I was wondering if this was normal behavior? Everytime I see it I get a little weirded out because it looks very uncomfortable and it makes me wondering if they are having some sort of molt issue. ravensgate
They're 'allegedly' cleaning their tails (can't imagine their tails get dirty but that's word on the street in the past;). regardless, it's perfectly normal behavior:)
Axelrod12
Ok thanks. I guess I just never liked the way it looks haha.
Soothing Shrimp
I suppose biofilm could in theory collect there as well.
OblongShrimp
Just normal grooming. I have seen them groom their heads (looking a lot like a rodent when they do it) and their antennas (they grab them and clean them each off).
