vinniemabuna
Hi, I need some advise. I started another shrimp tank 20 gallon, I had a saltwater tank before same tank. I have it up and running a little over a week with moss, red plants-AR mini - L sp red, other moss and crypts small ones. I have been using seachem stability for 9 days straight -it says on the bottle to use 8 days... The issue is I shouldn't of bought any shrimp but bought CBS and CRS low quality for cheap 1-2 dollars each 30 altogether they have been in my tank for a day look well some look see through instead of white -stressed I'm sure! I have been staeting to dose seachen prime full cap to stop the ammonia-nitrates, and do 1 gallon RO water changes a day stared today, should I continue to do this regime for a week until the tank is OK -cycled ? thanks for ant help.. ohmiko
overrall I think buying it early was a bad choice since bee shrimp are sensitive to ammonia nitrate etc more than neos in my experience. I'd test the water a few days after you've dosed prime (so that u dont get a false positive) to see what your parameters are at.
Shrimple minded
Honestly I think you could be fine without the Prime dosing, it is known to raise TDS.
vinniemabuna
Hi, thanks for the advise, Ill see how it goes yes I know I shouldn't buy the shrimp I'm inpatient .. Some or half are clear instead of white with the black or red could this be from shipping stressed out or just poor cheap quality ? thanks.
