A_wild_shrimp
Are these planaria? I took a picture of a longer one to get a better look. If it is Planaria, what are some good ways to nip these things at the bud? And on a side note what gender is this shrimp?

That's definitely a female shrimp (and a really pretty one at that ) Dont worry, that isnt planeria, planeria has a flat triangular head, its just a detritus worm which is a thousand times better than planeria but is also a sign that you could be overfeeding your shrimp Short Term Solution: Manual removal, Scarlet Badis (might eat baby shrimp tho) Long Term Solution: Reduce feeding, remove uneaten food after 2 hours Hope this helps!!
