Currently I have the dennerle shrimp king 10 gallon, and I do really enjoy it, but I'd to upgrade relatively soon as I have the room for most 15-20s, unfortunately even though dennerle DOES sell a 20g version of the shrimp tank, I can't find a place to purchase it anywhere. And I figured this would be a good place to get some suggestions, are there any tanks in the 15-20 gallon range you would recommend? I'd prefer it come with decent lighting or lower on the price end so I can buy a decent light, obviously since this is a shrimp tank I'd like something with a good filter either in tank or all in one, but not a deal breaker. Other than that I'm open to suggestions. I was looking at the cobalt c-vue but 220 for an 18g with no lights doesn't sit well with me. Anything you guys can think of?

Hello, first of all, I'm new here and I'm from Spain I've been keeping fish for almost 4 years now and I want to give it a try to the shrimps. The ones I've selected are the bloody mary, and I have a few questions about them. I've read a lot about if they breed true or not but all the articles and post I've read are from 1 or 2 years ago and I want to know if they improved the strain. I want to obtain the best colour I can but I don't have much idea of what I'm doing so if someone could be kind enough to give me a small guide of how to select the best males and females and an easy way to remove the rest from the tank. Thank you very mucho for reading all this and I hope you answer me.

Okay. So originally I had 13 shrimp to start off with and it's been around a month and they all seemed fine, molting from time to time. Then my parents just told me a few days ago (3 days) that when I was on my trip for a week, nearly a shrimp died every day. When I came back, the shrimp seemed fine and I didn't see any problems. Yesterday, I decided to clean the tank by sucking out some of their poop at the bottom of the tank that is always under the tiny black pebbles I put there (the filter doesn't filter anything). I was moving the pebbles around a lot and the black dust from the pebbles just whooshed up into the water and lingered there. The water looked disgusting. I had some tap water which I conditioned already so I took the shrimp (there were 5) and put them in that water. I cleared out all the water in that tank and filled it back with my conditioned water with the shrimp. My sister bought a new filter cotton thing to replace the old one cuz that has turned black from the dust probably. But today when I checked on them, the yellow ones had black stuff in their head, which has never happened before. They are still eating though. A red one just died. So I really don't know what to do. I know I shouldn't have changed all the water but I couldn't leave it there cuz the black particles were clouding the water. Someone please help!!
